Spring has sprung, Summers approaching fast!

There is something about springtime in Lancaster County that makes a person feel alive. Whether it be in the gardens here at the E J Bowman House Bed and Breakfast, or driving around the Amish countryside, you can see spring awakening and working its magic toward summer.

Whether you’re taking a drive through Lititz, Strasburg, Intercourse, Bird-In-Hand, or any of the other small towns here in the Lancaster area, you can see the signs. You have open buggies on the roads, and work horses in the fields, people tending to their gardens while the children run and play, leaving all their winter doldrums behind.

F & M, Lancaster Bible, Lancaster Art & Design, & Millersville Colleges have had their graduations and students returned home, another sign that summer is near.

With all this warmer weather and beautiful farmland, don’t forget about all there is to do here. You still have some good fire company fundraiser auctions, the Sunday night Long’s Park summer concert series , Sight and Sound Theater, craft shows & car shows, semi-pro baseball, fine restaurants and shopping, and dinner theaters. Of course you also have the Amish, hardworking and a curiosity to those that don’t live and work among them all year long.

So there is plenty to do and see, and unfortuately 1 day won’t cut it, trust me I know. Plan to stay a few days if you can, you won’t regret it!
