A Day at the Park

ENJOY THE SIGHTS & SOUNDS OF LANCASTER

Lancaster County offers our guests an abundance of outdoor activities; from shopping in downtown Lancaster to the rides and thrills of Hershey Park to enjoying a stroll through the whimsical Mount Gretna. There is always something to do in Lancaster County. During the summer, we encourage our guest to take in one of the many outdoor concerts during the Long’s Park Summer Music Series.

Celebrating over fifty years of music, the Long’s Park Summer Music Series offers free outdoor concerts throughout the summer months and has become a staple of family fun for many of our patrons. The 80-acre city park, conveniently located just off of Route 30, encourages visitors to picnic on one of the many grassy lawns, grill up something delicious in their pavilions, enjoy the basketball courts, tennis courts, fitness trails, and lake, and of course play in the playgrounds.

Beginning in June, the park will welcome several notable musicians to their amphitheater and continue the tradition of showcasing the sounds of summer. Here are just some of the acts we are looking forward to this summer.

CONCERT SNEAK PEEK

Sunday, June 7th – Kick Off to the 2015 Summer Music Series with Selwyn Birchwood

Sunday, July 19th – The soulful and swinging sounds of the powerhouse quartet, Lake Street Dive
