An enclosed second floor balcony and exterior porches offer private places for reflection or personal conversation.
Lighted pathways safely guide you to the developing landscaped flower-herb garden , as well as the ‘doll house’ pond … places to rest with Nature.
Lighted, secure parking is available at the side and rear of the house for your easy access.
Gaelynne , the trained friendly house dog, will want to play … saying “good puppy” will do.

Dining Room
Your hearty homemade gourmet breakfast is served every morning at the
unique hand-crafted Shaker table. Our grand dining (meeting/event) room
is the heart of our home. Its simple lines and dental crown molding, rich blue
ceiling, gold drapes, walnut furniture and lighting offered by East/West
full windows and a period chandelier provide perfect elegance.
Breakfast is served at 9:00 a.m. (special times prearranged).

Parlor
"You're home"... the golden draped full windows, a sky-mural
ceiling, paintings and mirrors, grand fireplace, 1890 pump organ,
comfortable loveseat, sofa and chairs, and family pictures... all speak,
"you're home".

Library
The perfect spot to enjoy a large screen color Cable TV, VHS tapes
or DVD; listen to the expansive CD collection; enjoy reading your
favorite book, our garden, travel or decorating magazines; connect to
free wireless internet... but, be careful, while lighting and wooden
shades are perfectly adjustable, the comfortable club chairs may lull
you to rest quietly.

Music Room
A delightful room of wonders... a table for two, card playing or
puzzle solving... instruments to play... afternoon treats for the
palate... a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave and hot beverage
machine... walls with hand-painted silk and music scenes... good
temptations here!

The gardens

Getting home to grand elegance and good taste.
We are 1 mile (4 lights) south of the Lancaster Airport on Route 501, Lititz Pike; and 3 miles north of the Lancaster City Amtrak Train/Bus Station, where taxis are readily available. By car we can be primarily reached using Rte. 30 (Lincoln Highway) or the PA Turnpike.
Best directions from your departure point SHOULD be requested during your booking conversation

from South – Rte. 222 North to Rte. 501 North before the intersection of 722 West (Valley Road)

from North – Rte. 501 South to just south of its intersection with Valley Road
|
|
from East or West - PA Turnpike (Rte. 76) to exit 286. Pay toll, stay in left lane, make a left turn and go South on Rte. 222 for 11 miles to Oregon Pike exit (Rte. 272 South). At ramp's end, turn left and go to second traffic light, now turn right onto Landis Valley Road, then go to the next traffic light (Rte. 501). Turn left on to South 501, and within 50 feet turn right into Post Lane.

from the Harrisburg area - Rte. 83 to Rte.283 South. As you near Lancaster this will blend with Rte. 30 East, now follow signs to Lititz Pike. At the ramp's end turn left, going North about 2.1 miles to our home on the left (#2674 Lititz Pike). Turn left into Post Lane.
