The foyer and formal staircase have 14 murals, created by the Lancaster Mural Company, depicting seasonal life in Lancaster County of the late 19th Century.

An enclosed second floor balcony and exterior porches offer private places for reflection or personal conversation.

Lighted pathways safely guide you to the developing landscaped flower-herb garden , as well as the ‘doll house’ pond … places to rest with Nature.

Lighted, secure parking is available at the side and rear of the house for your easy access.

Gaelynne , the trained friendly house dog, will want to play … saying “good puppy” will do.

Dining Room

Your hearty homemade gourmet breakfast is served every morning at the unique hand-crafted Shaker table. Our grand dining (meeting/event) room is the heart of our home. Its simple lines and dental crown molding, rich blue ceiling, gold drapes, walnut furniture and lighting offered by East/West full windows and a period chandelier provide perfect elegance. Breakfast is served at 9:00 a.m. (special times prearranged).

Parlor

"You're home"... the golden draped full windows, a sky-mural ceiling, paintings and mirrors, grand fireplace, 1890 pump organ, comfortable loveseat, sofa and chairs, and family pictures... all speak, "you're home".

Library

The perfect spot to enjoy a large screen color Cable TV, VHS tapes or DVD; listen to the expansive CD collection; enjoy reading your favorite book, our garden, travel or decorating magazines; connect to free wireless internet... but, be careful, while lighting and wooden shades are perfectly adjustable, the comfortable club chairs may lull you to rest quietly.

Music Room

A delightful room of wonders... a table for two, card playing or puzzle solving... instruments to play... afternoon treats for the palate... a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave and hot beverage machine... walls with hand-painted silk and music scenes... good temptations here!
